Why I Started Axis

Hi, I’m Jerred. I run Axis from Athens, GA. After a decade of working for and with small businesses, I kept meeting owners juggling a website, a Google listing, email, payments, and phones — with nobody to call when something broke. Axis is that call: an outsourced tech department for local businesses. Axis Services covers websites and the day-to-day tools; Axis Labs builds automations and small software that give owners hours back every month.

New builds are hand-coded — no WordPress, no frameworks, no page builders. Writing every line by hand keeps a site fast and easy to maintain, because there’s no bloated theme underneath it. And when a business already has a platform that works, I work in it rather than force a migration nobody asked for.
